Master of Arts in Teaching Services
I’m a graduate student at San Diego State University, tackling a Master of Arts in Teaching Services program. My passion? All things math education! Right now, I’m having a blast as a Teaching Associate for Math 150 (Calculus 1) where I get to help students through the brilliance of calculus. Before this, I earned my bachelor’s degree at SDSU in Mathematics with a focus on Single Subject Teaching. I have a passion for both teaching and learning math, and I’m always excited to find creative ways to make math click for others!

Master of Arts in Teaching Services
I am a 2nd year graduate student in San Diego State University’s MATS (Master of Arts in Teaching Service) program for community college teaching and a Teaching Assistant for Calculus I. At SDSU, I have had the opportunity to study methods of inquiry-oriented instruction and equity in mathematics education. I am currently also researching how to create a sense of belonging for students in mathematics classrooms. Outside of the classroom, I love to rollerskate and make pottery!

Master of Arts in Teaching Services
I’m a student at San Diego State University, finishing my Master of Arts in Teaching Services for Mathematics in community college. During this time, I’ve also been a teaching assistant for Calculus 3, where I practiced developing course activities alongside instructors. I’m currently interested in research regarding pedagogical approaches involving technology and inquiry-oriented curriculum design. I’m fueled by my passion to make mathematics more approachable for students and eventually apply my research to my own classroom.
